9/25--Pugtoberfest

Are you ready for Pugtoberfest!?! This event through Pug Rescue of San Diego County will be held on Saturday, September 25th from 2 - 5 pm at Temple Terrace (west side of the street), 92119 near Lake Murray in San Carlos. This year they are brewing up "Pudgy Pug Pale Ale," "Jackson's Orange you Glad you have a Pug!" and "Pugnacious IPA". There will be food, beverages and home-made sweets and baked goods. Their website goes on to say, "The Pug Rescue boutique will be open so you can start your early Christmas shopping. Once again we will have two wonderful raffle baskets chock full of goodies and a beautiful custom made pug-inspired quilt and television to raffle off. Our Pennies for Pug wagon will be out and about with Keggan and Robert dressed in their finest lederhosen! Save your pennies, dimes, nickels, and dollars and bring them to Pugtoberfest!! Also, take this opportunity to renew or become a Pug Rescue member - when you do, you will receive one free raffle ticket....The Pug Playpen and a small pool will be setup so all the pugs can play, have fun, and stay cool. We will also have some of our adoptable dogs at the event." For more information and to register, check out their website, www.pugbutts.com (cute name, huh?).

Do you have a Spaniel?

Check out the San Diego Spaniel Rescue socials. Their site says, "Join fellow Cocker Spaniel owners (and their dogs!) for a leisurely get together....Your Spaniels can run and play in the fenced-in dog park.
