7/17--Ice Cream Social

Wow, has the weather been hot! Let your dog cool off with some ice cream. The Muttropolis store in Solana Beach is hosting an Ice Cream Social for your pooch on Saturday, July 17th from 11am to 2pm. Plus, while you're there, you can check out 'Jazz on Cedros' (see the posting below). Muttropolis' Facebook page says, "Today, pooches of all breeds are invited to cool off from the summer sun with an ice cream social - with complimentary Nature's Variety SweetSpots frozen treats for the dogs!During this great event, we'll also have snacks and beverages for the pet parents, and everyone will recei...ve a 10% discount coupon for any purchases the day of the event. All pups will receive a complimentary goodie bag as well!I scream, you scream...all the dogs scream for ICE CREAM!"

Stroll down Cedros (in Solana Beach) while listening to some great jazz with your dog! Jazz on Cedros will be held on Saturday, July 17th, from 12:30 to 5 pm. What a fun, relaxing way to spend a summer day in July! Plus, there is a Muttropolis store on Cedros you can pop into.

5/15--Spa & Wellness Day

Get some exercise and treat your dog to a special day of pampering and grooming! This is a Spa & Wellness Day at Muttropolis in Solana Beach, this Saturday, May 15th from 9am to 1pm. Here's what the Muttropolis website has to say about this event: "9am Start the day with a fitness workout for you and your dog. Tammilee Webb, of Buns of Steel fame, will lead a circuit workout through the neighborhood, starting at 9am in our front yard. Call the store to sign up and reserve a spot for you and your pup. 11-1pm Your pooch can benefit from massage just like we do! Complimentary, 10 minute massages will be given compliments of Healing Hands Canine Massage. Michelle and team from Rancho Solana Pet Spa will be on hand to do complimentary nail clipping and smoothing. They will also do bow placement for your furry fashionista! On May 5th, bring your dog and celebrate Cinco de Mayo at a Muttropolis! It will be a Yappy Hour at the Solana Beach location from 7-8pm or the La Jolla location from 7-8 pm. There will be off-leash play time for your canine, Mexican themed goodies for the doggy parents, and treats for Fido!

Cedros Avenue Design District

Cedros Avenue in Solana Beach is always a fun walk! You can window shop there with your canine, have lunch on the patio of one of the restaurants, and on Sundays there is a farmer's market from 1-5pm. There is also a Muttropolis store along this street you can take your dog into.
